Things That Go Bump In the Night: The Supernatural in Medieval Culture

Event Description:

Drs. Jo Koster (English), Kyle Sweeney (Art History), and Gregory Bell (History) will each give a short presentation as part of an event titled "Things That Go Bump In the Night: The Supernatural in Medieval Culture." Dr. Sweeney will talk about devils and demons in medieval art, Dr. Koster will talk about ghost stories in medieval literature, and Dr. Bell will talk about violence and cannibalism during the First Crusade. The entire event including presentations and questions will take one hour.
