The Hispanic Culture Society's The Masked Maravillas de los Vejigantes

Event Description:

Join us for a night of marvelous fun! Learn more about the Puerto Rican festivities revolving around the folklore and stories of the Vejigantes: The Devils of Puerto Rico. We will be providing materials to make our own masks that will resemble the Vejigantes made during Carnaval. We, as the Hispanic Culture Society, will be giving an informational presentation to all of the attendees. We hope that attendees will gain a better understanding of Puerto Rican culture and what activities are done during various celebrations.
