Unity in Color | Spring into Self-Love: A Women Of Color - Wellness Panel

Mon Mar 30 2026 7:00PM – 9:00PM | Mon Mar 30 2026

Event Description:

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the NAACP Health Committee is hosting "Unity in Color," an interactive wellness experience and service project designed to empower young women of color on campus. This event moves beyond a traditional panel format to foster a "Talk Show" style environment where students engage with leaders on mental health, faith, cultural identity, and self-advocacy. A central component of this event is our "Glow-Up Kit" Donation Drive. We are asking all attendees to contribute feminine hygiene products and self-care items to support local women in transition. This initiative aligns with our committee's mission to bridge the gap between personal wellness and community advocacy. The program features five distinguished guest speakers representing various backgrounds including African Americans, Afro-Latina’s, Hispanic, and Muslim perspectives to discuss the intersection of heritage and holistic health. To promote an atmosphere of growth and community, attendees are encouraged to wear "Spring Colors" (Yellow, Pink, Green, Purple, Blue, Orange, or White).
